Bio-Active Urea S is a next generation Urea. It contains, Nitrogen 39%, Bioactive Sulfur 7% A synergetic combination of Urea (Nitrogen), Potassium, Bioactive Sulfur, Nutrient Solubilizing Microorganisms (NSM) & Plant Growth Regulating Microorganisms (PGRM) with Organic Coating. Combination of these all makes it a product in line with IPNM.
Bioactive Sulphur is an activated Sulphur with Bioactivation patent technology of Niha Corp USA. Bioactive Sulphur is an organically encapsulated micronized Sulphur. This Bioactivation ensures continuous availability of Sulphur to plant.
Sulphur is essential for the growth and development of all crops, without exception. Like any essential nutrient, Sulphur also has some key functions in plants: –
- Formation of chlorophyll that permits photosynthesis through which plants produce starch, sugars, oils, fats, vitamins and other compounds.
- Protein production. Sulphur is a constituent of three S-containing amino acids (cysteine, cystine and methionine), which are the building blocks of protein. About 90% of plant S is present in these amino acids.
- Synthesis of oils. This is why adequate Sulphur is so crucial for oilseeds
- Activation of enzymes, which aid in biochemical reactions in the plant.
- Increases crop yields and improves produce quality, both of which determine the market price a farmer would get for his produce like cereals, oil seed, tobacco, onion, garlic etc.
Nitrogen and Sulphur has synergetic effect. Organic coating on ureaS makes it 10-20% less more effective than normal Urea due to reduced volatizational losses. It gives ease of application to the farmer along with cost saving VS Urea + Micronized Sulfur 80 WDG. Ideal for 2nd and onward Urea topdressing.
